A little about Dan
Having started riding as a three year old and thrown onto an 11.2hh pony, Dan caught the equine bug. He excelled through his initial riding years at pony club and became the UK's first ever winner of the pony club talent-spotting competition. He passed his Pony Club A test with honours and is still a rarity to this day. He then went on to win the Jefferies Search for a Star.
It was during this phase in his life that Dan found his natural ability for dressage. A classically trained rider, who has ridden as an individual for great Britain at Grand Prix. He was never so lucky as to have the leading bloodlines to work with, instead he worked hard with his father's hunter Bayford Hall Boris, who won Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced Medium, Intermediate2 national championships. He was too heavy as a type but proved that Dan really had the ability to make any horse dance.
